If you attended AKOUSMA (5) in December 2008, you have had the opportunity, in an immersive solo concert, to appreciate how humane the works of Darren Copeland are. You can experience this humanity again this year in a brand-new work commissioned by Réseaux.

Rights of the Child / Aux droits de l’enfant is a 44-minute radio-type work based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The work is being released exclusively on Réseaux’s website as an iConcert (a virtual Internet concert). It will be available from December 1st, 2009 to February 28th, 2010. December 1st is the World Day Against AIDS, and December 10 is Human Rights Day, so there is no better time to put on your headphones and pay attention to Rights of the Child / Aux droits de l’enfant.
