Adam Basanta studied electroacoustic composition with Barry Truax at Simon Fraser University (Burnaby, BC). In his compositions, Adam tries to preserve a connection to the real world, as well as explore lyrical phrasing while using sounds that are not considered lyrical. Other interests include indeterminate composition and interactivity.
