Susanne Maziarz is a young composer/pianist living in Toronto. She completed a double major in Composition and Music Theory at McGill University under Jean Lesage, Sean Ferguson and John Rea. She is currently working on her MA in Composition at York University with David Mott and David Lidov. She is interested in the co-relationship between the arts and music as language. Her MA thesis addresses how different translations of poetry can be expressed musically.
